Company formation
Combining boldness and pragmatism, Marcel Laudescher began his industrial adventure. In his traditional joinery workshop in Carentan, in the Cotentin region, he doesn't hesitate to change habits and think big to meet his customers' needs.
Half-jointed timber assembly
In the 1980s, he developed his half-jointing timber technique, making Laudescher the leader in the mobile partition units market. This exclusive manufacturing process, which ensures exceptional strength and modularity, inspires new innovations, panels and cladding systems, and is the basis of today's offering
open cladding panel patent
Creation of a design acoustic ceiling tile in collaboration with Erik Morvan and Alain Tisseyre.
Transmission
His son Jean-Marc buys 100% of the company and becomes the owner-manager, alongside his brother Stéphane, who manages production. Together, they carry on the work and cultivate the values of Marcel Laudescher: a humanist vision of industry and architecture, respect for the environment, a pioneering and innovative spirit , and a taste for perfection.
