Design Patrick Jouin iD

Designed like a bird’s nest, Nest combines solid wood and recycled seaweed fiber to create a soothing island that collects sound, while offering acoustic customization thanks to its unique assembly play.

This unlimited modularity allows multiple islands to be superimposed, forming a random composition that can be integrated into both small spaces and large-scale architecture. In addition to its acoustic role, Nest can also act as a source of light, offering installations that are both spectacular and functional, sculpting acoustic micro-environments at the heart of the space.

An original collaboration
with designer Patrick Jouin

Born in 1967, Patrick Jouin is a designer who graduated from the École nationale supérieure de création industrielle. He has worked on exceptional projects for Pedrali, FIAM, Cassina, Alki, Leucos, Alessi, Puiforcat, JCDecaux and Fermob.
His handwriting, his perception of craftsmanship and drawing, can be found in every one of his projects, from publishing design to urban furniture for the future stations of the Grand Paris Express.

The understanding of space and change of scale also inspire Patrick Jouin, who is also involved in international architecture and interior design projects with his partner Sanjit Manku within the Jouin Manku studio, founded in 2006.
