The renovation project for the New Scotland Yard in London embodies an ambitious transformation of the Curtis Green building, a 1930s landmark on the banks of the River Thames. The aim was to create a modern headquarters for the Metropolitan Police Service, incorporating flexible and collaborative spaces, while respecting the existing architectural heritage. We supplied custom Linea panels, designed to meet the unique requirements of this iconic building. These panels, characterized by their circular shapes, were integrated both internally, for the ceiling, and externally, for the soffits. Their installation required special attention from our Design Office, in particular to adapt to the building’s circular structure and to aesthetic and technical constraints. The project includes striking features such as a curved glass entrance pavilion and underside extensions with our product on the roof, reinforcing its contemporary character. This project demonstrates our expertise in creating aesthetic and technical solutions for large-scale institutional environments.
